INSTRUCTIONS:

Click the "Show Demo" button to see what Merlin can do.

Click the "Show" button to bring Merlin to life.
-
Click the "Move" button to make Merlin move around your screen.
-
Click the "Speak" button to make Merlin read what you type in the text box.
-
Select a gesture and click the "Animate" button to see Merlins animations.
Note that some animations are looping, and you must hit the "Stop" button to end them.

Click the "Move" button to make Merlin move around your screen.

Click the "Hide" button to turn Merlin off.

Click the "Merlin", "Peedy", or "Genie" to select a different
character file.

Click
the "Listen" button to enable speech input. Character will
respond to "speak," "animate" and "demo".
Other voice commands will not be recognized.
NOTE: This sample loads its character data from a local path.
It will not work as written unless you download the file
MERLIN.EXE which will install merlin.acs in the path \\windows\msagent\chars.
This will work with Windows 95/98 as well as Windows NT/2000.

It will also automagically download and install the Microsoft Agent ActiveX Control, the Lernout and Hauspie text-to-speech ActiveX
Control, and the Microsoft speech recognition engine.
Be not afraid, it's worth the wait.
